I will be the first to admit that JavaScript was the most confusing thing I have ever tried to learn. Lessons learned in school did not prepare me for things like prototype inheritance and the prototype chain, closures, functions as first-class object, functions with their own functions, the changing "this" scope, the various ways to create objects, variable hoisting , and other confusing JavaScript topic. Come learn what I have learned about what Douglas Crockford calls "The World's Most Misunderstood Programming Language".
